Our senior class organized a can drive for the Mid Ohio Food Bank because they were really short on canned goods. Our student president reported back that we had acquired over 8,500 lbs of food. The truck driver had to epty his entire truck before making any more stops after our school. It was a really fulfilling experience.

The Salvation Army and the American Lung Association were the donations this month. These do not fall under the strict classification of charities but their work is far superior to most who are asking for support.

World Vision seems to be a good place to give $ to.
I usually just give to my church, they use the $ to help missionaries in foreign countries, provide food for people locally,and make sure the programs for the kids at church are interesting. I also give to my pastor, he does not receive a salary. He and his wife are retired and are being a blessing to our church that is struggling financially. God is providing.
