I feel like I am worn out from all of my past relationships. I always end up giving way more than I ever receive in a relationship. (money, time, etc...)
I am 43 years old & my only child (my daughter) just made me a grandmother...
I should be totally excited about my life right now.
Truth is I feel like I would rather be alone...
I may end up staying like this forever.

I think that you shouldn't give up hope. You don't need a partner in your life, no one truly does, so live everyday as you want, and just maybe when you least expect it, you'll find that special someone. Don't give up, just wait, live to make yourself happy and do what you have always wanted, it doesn't really matter if your alone. As I said, you may just meet a special someone when your not even looking.

Don't feel singled out here. I just got the shaft earlier this evening. Been giving 110% but I guess it just wasn't enough. Actually wrote on a piece of paper that as of today I have 30 days to vacate. In big block letters no less...this close to Christmas, etc. What a shocker, I never even saw this coming. So yeah, after this and my last couple, I'm starting to feel like I'll just never be good enough for anyone. I guess I'm going it alone again. Hang in there, I always find new folks when I least expect it. But I'm def. not looking. Take care

I nearly gave up on love several years ago when I was in my late 30's. I thought I would never love somebody as much again because it was so painful for so long. But then I met the love of my life just by chance. You never know what is around the next corner in life. In the mean time, you can work on making yourself a better person rather than sit around feeling sorry for ones self. Try joining a sporting club, gym etc. and never stop working on bettering yourself mentally. You have to make your own chances in life (cause you only get one). If you sit at home and don't make your chances, no one is going to come looking for you. To coin a phrase from a famous shoe maker 'Just Do It'
