Does anyone know how to pronounce Chartreux?

As in the cat? (I know, kind of weird, but I'm horrible with French pronunciation...) Thanks everyone!

phonetically it is Shar-true-s the same pronunciation as the color Chartreus

go with the second & fourth one answers you got. the final letter you say will be a vowel sound (the "x" is silent). breeders pronounce it one of two ways, so it can be pronounced either (usually) shar-TRUE or (sometimes) shar-TROW.
