for hours? I wanted to know what people think about Astrology and Christianity. Are they compatible belief systems? I ask five people, and get five different answers.

Some confuse Astronomy (an actual science) with Astrology (mysticism).
Compatible? No.

From whom or what do you seek guidance? God wants to be your sole source of wisdom and direction.

According to ancient history Levi priests did practice astrology. The Vatican put an end to such practice and even interpolated such condemnation later in papers which eventually became known as the Bible.

There is nothing wrong with be an astrologist, obviously the stars in the heavens have been used for navigators on the ocean to building the pyramids, we just have to remember that God created them for that purpose and not to be trying to find the future in them. Your future comes down to the choices you make in life, your number one choice is whether to be a Christian or not. The Bible says that is number one. If you die without Jesus as your Saviour you will spend an eternity with the devil in a place called hell. If you believe in Jesus and become saved and born again it will be Heaven for ever. The Bible is the best selling book of all time for a reason. It has power. Listen to your heart, Jesus wants to be involved in your life but you have to choose to let him, first you have to confess to him you are a sinner in need of a Saviour, if you are willing to do that you can be saved today right now, just pray this sinners prayer of faith believing in Jesus with all your heart and soul, just pray Dear Jesus, I know and confess that I am sinner in need of salvation. I believe you died on a cross at calvery and arose from the grave to wash away my sins, I ask you right now to come into my heart and save me, I pray this Prayer believing in the name of Jesus Amen. If you prayed this prayer with a sincere heart you are now a child of God, rejoice that your name is written in the Lambs book of Life.
