I am picking the Eskimo - (Inuit) people
No war in centruries
Haven't changes their lifestyle in 1000's of yrs
No jails no courts no politicans no lawyers no police etc
Follow the Polar Bear fish and build an igloo - worship the Northern lights and go to bed -
That is who I would pick if I were god and wanted a people to be representive of how I wanted people to live

While the Inuits are awesome, my loyalties lie with the ancient Norse and Germanic peoples.

Zoroastrians,because I have a deep admiration for their religion and it's values. If you mean an ethnic group I guess I'd say the Inuit of Greenland. They are the only people on earth with 100% literacy and about half of them have published books of stories or poetry.

Wow...that's nice. I hadn't thought of the Inuit. I always had respect for the Native Americans, but even they, despite being relatively peaceful and in communion with nature, had wars amongst themselves. It is nice to see that the Inuits, by contrast to that (though it was centuries ago) live fully tranquil lives.

i'd replace people with plush toys. low maintenence, and very little trouble.
inuits are alright i guess. thinking of moving to nunavut? sounds like a plan but i would urge caution. the legendary northwest passage opened up this year (what global warming?) and nunavut is due for some heavy development. gonna be some big changes up there.
