Of course. There is no certainty - that's what 'faith' means (read Kierkergaard on the 'leap of faith'). If we had a guarantee, faith would be worthless.

>> Is there any chance at all that your religious beliefs are
>> incorrect?

There's no chance that my belief in God is incorrect. There's always a chance that I have not understood God's Word in some way. But, I continue to study God's Word and to pray the Holy Spirit to lead me into all Truth.

God bless.

I believe that the major beliefs that I hold are correct. I have spent a lot of time verifying them in many ways. On the details, I could easily be wrong, but I am continually studying to make sure I don't hold to wrong beliefs even on minor points. I am aware that I will never be100% correct in this life, and I am always learning.

If we think theyre incorrect then we'd switch to a religion which beliefs we trust and won't find incorrect. The key word here is our "beliefs". If we believe it, why would we feel it's incorrect?

2 Cor.4:3-4
3But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost:
4In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.
2 peter 3:3-4
3Knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts,
4And saying, Where is the promise of his coming? for since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation

Even if there is no God, there is enough in Christ's teachings to better this world. No atheist has ever produced anything so good.

If Christianity is false, when I die, I've lost nothing.

If Christianity is true, when you die, you lose everything.

It's almost a certainty that some of them are, which is why I'll continue to question and explore. But my most central belief is correct.

Yes, and I realize that. But with all of the religions in the world, it's highly unlikely that ANYONE has EVERYTHING right, so I'll just do the best I can with what makes sense to me.
