My daughter was sick last week and puked in the playpen. Its the pack and play kind with the mesh sides. We cleaned the puke up immediately with towels, wiped it with baby wipes, took it outside and let it air out then sprayed it down with Febreeze. It stills is wreaking of that puke smell though! Any help or tips from Mommies or Daddies? Thanks to answers.

There is this wonderful wonderful liquid that I buy at walmart!!! It is called kids and pets I do believe and it is in the spot removal section and the cleaning supplies like for those wet jet mops. It is wonderful if the kid pees the bed squirt it on there does not smell anymore whatsoever!!! Works on puke too. I've tried it and love it. It is like 4.98 for a bottle tho but worth the money.

Shelly J is correct. I had to do this to get puke smell out of my son's travel crib when the little boy I babysit barfed in it. Luckily we have a covered back deck and I placed it outside for a couple of days and sprayed it with vinegar after using resolve to get the stain out of the pad. No vinegar smell or puke smell.

Make a paste out of baking soda and water. Spread it on and leave it for an hour. The baking soda will eat the odour right up! You can also use vinegar and water, but if you use too much vinegar, your house will end up smelling like that.

Try wiping it down with vinegar. The vinegar will smell temporarily but it will fade! And it can take out so many yucky smells! Cheap, too :)
