6 months is what I usually say, some studies show that chances of cancer increase after each heat cycle but I still think that one heat cycle makes the dog more "normal" and mature. So I would wait until the dog is mature, had one heat cycle and then get her spayed. And THANK you for being a responsible owner and getting her spayed. Sooooo many people on here don't its nice to see someone that cares.

The sooner the better. Ask her vet but there is no need for her to come into heat before spaying her.
Kudos to you for being a responsible dog owner.

Have her spayed before her first heat - it is healthier for her in the long run. She is getting close to her first heat, so call the vet and schedule the surgery ASAP.

You should get it done prior to her first heat.. You should set up appointment soon as she'll likely come into heat 6 mos + Get her done now and you won't have to worry about her coming into heat and messing up the appointment.

Before her first heat is best. In fact, you probably can do it now, though most vets say 6 months.

If you wait until her first heat, you will definitely get her spayed. It is so annoying, all the whining and crazy behavior...

You can have it done now. Many vets prefer to do it before they go into their first heat.

as long as it's after 6 months... Some places will charge you more if they do it while she is in heat though. I Heard it is also more complicated to do, So make sure you do it at the right time.
