Wow. This is probably the first pregnancy question I have seen that expresses sincere concern for your animals! Bravo.
Absolutely you can abort the puppies which is probably the smartest and safest thing to do at her age. You are right, she is about two years too young for her body to properly deal with pregnancy.
You do need to get her to the vet asap. If you want to abort, the sooner the better. Like humans, there is a too late to abort meaning she could have a hard time delivering, require surgery for a c-section, reject the puppies, etc.
Way to be a responsible owner!

There is a good chance she is pregnant it is in the second week of the heat that a female is receptive to the male.
I would suggest taking her to the vets either now and have her spayed if you choose but that would mean aborting pups if she is preg.( I myself don't believe in this but to each there own) or wait until 4 weeks after she was seen withthe male and have the vet do an x-ray or sonogram.
She is considered being young it's like a 13 or 14 year old having a baby they are young but it has been done and htey can be healthy. Again this is your option.
The only other thing is to wait and see she would gain weight, start developing milk anywhere form a 2 weeks ot teh day she has pups, may get "morning sickness" start eating more, But: then again this can also happen with a false pregnancy.
If you have any other questions email me and I will try my best to help you.

It is hard to tell for the first few weeks because her teats will be swollen, and she might even be a little fatter because of holding water....just like a human :) But eventually she will either get big enough to know she is, or everything will go back to normal. Another way to tell is that her vulva won't go back down to normal size if she's pregnant, it will stay swollen. It's pretty much a waiting game unless you take her to the vet.
Also, I don't think you can stop the pregnancy now. They do have morning-after pills for dogs, but it sounds like it's too late for that. I don't think they do doggie abortions. If this is her first heat there may be complications, but if it is her second heat she should be ok. The best thing to do is to take her to the vet - better safe than sorry......Good luck :)

How long ago were they together? I think it is about 6-8 weeks that you can start to feel them moving inside.
My dogs teats never got swollen after a heat and when she did have pups they did not swell until maybe a few days before she gave birth.
If I were you I would take her to the vet to be checked, they can tell. Also they could tell you about the safety of her age and having pups. I would think to stop the pregnancy would depend on how far along she was, and again that is something I would ask a vet.

You asked for serious and here is serious. She is a bit young but is of breedable age. She may have gotten pregnant in as little as 30 seconds. She may get swollen teets from 1st period but first one should have been around 9 months. You will be able to tell by feeling her just in front of the rear legs on both sides at the same time... you will feel what appears to be marbles in the uterous area, so you will need to press firmly but not forcefully inward... If she is pregnant you may want to go ahead and let her have them... since you saw them doing it you will be able to figure the birthing date (63-67 days later). Once she's had the litter you will not have any further worries about is she old enough. Granted, none or all of the litter may live... your concern is for your dog though. watch her closely around the date she may be due. You can assist her if she has trouble, much the way humans are born, she'll push you pull (GENTLY) then make sure the sack is off the puppy head... she will eat this so do not throw it out. Try to not handle the pup further than removing the sack from the head... she will figure it out. My Pom gave birth to her first litter at 12 years and she had trouble but got the picture and had 6 wonderful cute pups to live out of 7 (I left her for a moment is the reason the 7th didn't make it. I didn't get the head free of the sack in time).

I would go to the vet for an emergency spay, then you will have no worries. She IS too young to have pups safely. She may well be pregnant, but I do know of some females who's nipples became more prominent with heat or just age. Your Vet will tell you for sure. Your dog will be in far less danger from the spay then if she was allowed to have a litter, and any puppies she has could be ill from whelping so young.

You absolutely can stop the pregnancy, call your vet and they can preform a spay and remove the pups then. She is by far too young and could end up dying, especially if the male is larger than her. If you had wanted to use her as a breeding dog, then you of course have the right to let her have the pups, but you are taking a big risk

Bring her to the vet and have her spayed. She is too young to be having pups and it can injure or kill her.
Especially in a large breed like an American Bulldog - she hasn't had time mature herself, let alone being put through the physical demands of pregnancy.

Their nipples do become slightly bigger after being in heat the first time.
If she is pregnant, you can take her to the vet and have her spayed.
She is far too young to produce a health litter of puppies.. Far to immature mentally and physically. Not only that, she is unlikely to care for them properly.

Your dog sounds pregnant to me.
Take her to your vet. The pregnancy can be terminated. Unless you want to be a breeder, I suggest she be spayed and your male neutered.
