It depends on how cold it is. Wine bottles aren't designed to hold pressure; they're pretty flimsy. If the wine should freeze, the bottle would shatter.

It depends on how cold is the temperature and how full is the bottle. If the bottle is full and unopened (under pressure) and the temperature is cold enough (it gets sub-zero here), the liquid will expand and the the bottle will break. The liquid has to have room to expand, and if it doesn't it will break the bottle. Depending on the two variables. The alcohol won't eliminate that possibility completely.

No unless it freezes then the glass will contract and crack. Also cooling the wine spoils the taste.

Nah, I doubt it!

If you froze it (would have to be bloody cold for alcohol to freeze) and then let it thaw out there is a chance the bottle would crack due to the liquid expanding as it melted.

never freeze wine,its alcohol % is low enough,like a beer,that it will freeze solid[unlike hard alcohol%40]and change the taste

I've never seen it happen but some say you can by putting it in a freezer ice cube tray

Why would you want to do that in the first place.?...I don't know...I doubt it..if you let it defrost slowly.
