Bear with me a second. Some people say that Jesus was condoning the eating of pork in this passage -- nothing could be further from the truth.:
Mat. 15:10 And he called the multitude, and said unto them, Hear, and understand:
Mat. 15:11 Not that which goeth into the mouth defileth a man; but that which cometh out of the mouth, this defileth a man.
Mat. 15:12 Then came his disciples, and said unto him, Knowest thou that the Pharisees were offended, after they heard this saying?
Mat. 15:13 But he answered and said, Every plant, which my heavenly Father hath not planted, shall be rooted up.
Mat. 15:14 Let them alone: they be blind leaders of the blind. And if the blind lead the blind, both shall fall into the ditch.
Mat. 15:15 Then answered Peter and said unto him, Declare unto us this parable.
Mat. 15:16 And Jesus said, Are ye also yet without understanding?
Mat. 15:17 Do not ye yet understand, that whatsoever entereth in at the mouth goeth into the belly, and is cast out into the draught?
Mat. 15:18 But those things which proceed out of the mouth come forth from the heart; and they defile the man.
Mat. 15:19 For out of the heart proceed evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, fornications, thefts, false witness, blasphemies:
Mat. 15:20 These are the things which defile a man: but to eat with unwashen hands defileth not a man.
Jesus was merely saying that it is not what goes into your mind via your five senses which defiles you, but the thoughts which come out of you as a result of what you have put into your mind. Thus, if your thoughts have allowed you to ignore God's command not to eat pork, then eating the pork isn't what has defiled you but the thoughts which promoted that sin.
By the same token, the kind of music you listen to is not what defiles you; but where that music leads you can defile you. Thus, here is the Bible's "sound" advice:
Philippians 4:8 Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.
God bless.

LOL, your questions make me smile!
I guess it would depend what you are listening to, I mean, if you like to rock out to Bach or Avalon, than, no harm done, lol; God's opinion might be: (and I'm just guessing here), foolish, yes, sinful, no, especially not if you're thinking good thoughts!
Extra karma points awarding if you're rocking out to "good music" while doing community service (minus points if the community service is part of your sentence).

Yah..and definitely it is.........you dont want to see the result of your evil work..you are suppose to tke care of the different parts of your body...the body that God gave you..I have to relate it to God because you were asking if it was a sin or not...listening to this kind of music gives you a brutal effect.....so this is already a sin.........that music is evil..that music is sending you evil messages up to your spine to your head..and destroying your mind..so guess high time to change music before your ehad is smashed...worst if you take drugs with it...hmph~~~
