it is very simple..
To believe in Evolution you must ask the question from where did we evolve? they cant tell you..
In order to create life (scientifically speaking) you need 3 things:
1. time
2. mater
3. space
where did all the mater come from? where did the space come from (to put the mater) and where did time come from (the time where all this happened).. they cant tell you..
The evolutionist have no answer for this problem.
But the creationist does..
THE ANSWER LIES IN GENESIS CH 1 verse 1
GEN 1:1
In the beginning(TIME) God created the heavens(SPACE) and the earth(MATER)..
ALL 3 ARE ACCOUNTED FOR...
who is right? which is truth? One has a problem and the other one does not.. its obvious that creation science is correct here..
otherwise we would have to believe that something came from nothing and we just spontaneously popped into existence and created some kind of soup and OVER TIME(which they can not explain) we came to be..
They take the creator out of science--but remember if you take the creator out of science (in which created science itself) then you are left with nothing..
John
--to address some opinions here--
1. The fossil record and the geological column exists only in the text books. Layers form threw a process called hydro-logic sorting--which means the order is always changed--there is no exact column.. its a lie.. so where ever you find the fossil doesn't tell you any information at all.. Just that you found something that died..
2. Evolution is Religion.. Any time you try to explain the origin of life you are dealing with religion. Charles Darwin wrote the book "Origin of species"--anyone who attempts to explain how we got here is giving you their religions view.. Creation and Evolution are both RELIGIOUS world views..
3. Rather Darwin was born or not explains nothing.. Hitler was born should we all believe in Nazism.. or communism?
4. to consi.. There is no problem with god creating plant life before sun light--since they only had to survive with out sunlight for ONE DAY!..
thanks--you speak of spontanious generation--which is exactly what the evolutionist believes.. that SOMETHING CAME FROM NOTHING--let me ask you Mrs. Evolution where did all the matter, space, and time come from? they cant give you an answer except that it just existed--it popped into existance, well my friend that is spontaneous generation. YOU 2 must believe in spontaneous generation except you must explain how we evolved from a rock that spontaneously existed billions of years ago, demonstrate this in a laboratory and then call it science.. you cant..
thanks

Well creationism claims that plant life was created before the planets and the sun.
Thats a tough one to accept, and is contradicted by everything we know about plants and how they process sunlight.
There is no evidence on earth that actually points towards spontaneous creation. Everything we study, confirms evolution even when we initially think it doesn't.
Genetics has recently shown that human chromosomes are the same as those of apes accept for the second one, which is a fusion. The markers show that both apes and humans did evolve from a shared ancestor.
Creationism requires faith, just like belief in the Greek Gods.

Creationists can't explain the mechanism by which God manipulates matter and energy to create objects in the universe much less the universe itself. They bail out of even an hypothesis on this critical element of the theory with an immature, blithe belief in mythical miracles.
Hence, creationism is a naive theology, not reality.

The bible speaks of six literal days of creation. That has been proven wrong according to the fossil record.

Seeing as you can't even spell i highly doubt you are educated about evolution so i really don't feel like telling you that you weren't created by a man you've never seen that is in a place with no location. And who created God? Man. Evolution is all around you, go read a book.

Actually, in response to some of those above me, there is NO proof that evolution exists and if you think you have some id love to see it so i can call you retarded. Evolution is still a THEORY and cannot be proven. but neither can creation, so both theories are based on faith and whatever you believe in is probly the best choice for you
p.s. God controls matter because he is all powerful (duh) and if you think that is silly then than consider that you think you are related to monkeys. so, ape-face, if you would rather think your cousins throw their poo....let that sink in.....then be my guest i have no problem with you being wrong

Evolution. If God wanted us to believe in creationism, Charles Darwin would have never been born.

Neither can be proved wrong....both are theories based on a book...one a science book the other a Bible....

I don't think the point is to prove the other is wrong ,but to prove that one is true.(truth is I don't think we'll ever know unless we can prove the reliability of the Bible)
BTW
it's spelled Evolution and Creationism

if creationism is true, then the bible must also be true.
but the bible says that outer space is full of water (genesis 1: 6-10).
so to prove whether creationism is true or not, what we must do is check whether outer space is really full of water or not.
can you think of a way we might do this?
