I have heard that it's not good to cry b/c it affects how your eyes/skin around eyes looks. So does this mean there's permanent damage from crying????

well, I heard that crying does damage b/c it makes your eyes swollen and puffy and your skin reddish and irritated...

i would think it helps your eyes... because it washes out and cleans them.

No that is silly crying is really good for you. It helps with alot of things like stress if you cry you will feel better and it will help clean your eyes out why do you think when you get something in you eyes the water

Just a guess but crying may be good for you because the tears would flush and clean your eyes.

tears are good for the eyes. . . drying your eyes from crying (if you rub them too hard) can damage the skin around your eyes over time.

lol. Not at all. Crying actually fills the eyes with water and washes away bacteria.

The reason that eye drops (such as Visine Tears) help moisten your eyes is because they are modeled after your natural tears. i would think that crying would help your eyes. the only reason that your eyes get red and puffy is because they are getting increased bloodflow. i hope that that isn"t bad for you...=P

actually crying and laughing they do the same effect to the eyes they get the eyes tears and clear the eyes from hazardous diseases .

No crying moisturizes your eyes. That is why your eyes start to water and also why you blink.

you heard wrong.
crying is natural, its not bad for you.
i know it hurts your eyes if youve been crying for a long period of time, but its nothing bad.

its just water and SORROW coming out of your eyes.
