so i've never had any guy tell me he likes me, the only thing ive ever gotten were, you're really pretty, she's pretty attractive
basically i only heard of one guy ever really liking me, and one who asked me out
i feel kind of down about it i mean are there guys out there that do like me but i never find out about it? im pretty shy, i like having close friends, not many guys talked to me before now..

just wait till youre older to worry...we are so childish at that age anyway, all we care about is getting our noodle wet and it sounds like you are a smart type of girl who needs to find the right guy to appreciate you
maybe you arent hot, but that doesnt matter much...looks cant compete with wit...its always wit wins with me when it comes to women..good luck

I don't see why you should be that shy.You have a lot going for you.You might be making some guys hesitate if they think your too smart for them. yes that happens. You might try following up your conversations with something funny. That helps guys relax and it may help getting asked out.
