thank you for understanding a simple fact.... to become a Catholic you are bapitized in JESUS CHRIST. you accept Him as your Saviour and agree to live your life according to HIS WILL. IMHO people who claim Catholics are not CHristians obviously have no knowledge first hand of the denomination. when you attend a CAthoilc mass you are not told about how to BECOME a Christian but rather it's a "support system" a way to become more enlightened, strengthened and fulfilled in Christ's mission for you. Throughout the bible we are given examples of how to LIVE a Christian life - this is what is shared in the mass. Christ is our foundation - what we build upon it is the life He gave us.

If Catholics are Christians then why do they disagree with Jesus claiming that Bible believing Christians are going to hell just because they're not Catholics? (At least the pope says so)

So many people just listen to what their ministers or pastors say and don't investigate it for themselves. Also, it could be a prejudice that was fed to them from day one. I think it is willful ignorance and most annoying especially when they are presented with the facts and choose to ignore them. I believe a great deal of insecurity is involved.

Catholics & Protestants are Christian...but not all professing Catholics or Protestants are in fact living like Christians.
Differences aside...we all are saved by faith in Jesus Christ. No one deserves Salvation, no one earns it, we are pardoned from our sins by God's grace so that no one may boast or brag.

They are not Christians, they are Catholic. Christians do not believe in confessing sins to a priest for absolution, we do not worship a pope, we do not practice the eucharist, we do not believe baptism can be at birth alone for salvation, we do not pray to Mary or saints because none of these things are biblical and therefore not the Truth!
Who is living the lie?
Quailman-maybe worship is not the right word, but they put him as the successor to Peter. They clearly have him in the position as the utmost authority on earth, and believe him infallible.
Marysia-you are not accepting Jesus as your savior when you are baptized as an infant. How did you agree to live your life according to his will at 2 days old? Only if you are re-baptized later as an adult are you doing that! You can not make that decision as a baby!

I believe they THINK they're Christians.
But to be a Christian means to follow the footsteps of Christ. What did he do? Who was he?
He is God's SON, not God the son. And Christ was a preacher of his Father's Kingdom. What is that Kingdom? It's an actual government.
I would never tell anyone they're not a Christian (unless they admit such themselves, like with Wiccans or Buddists etc) . People expose themselves for good or bad by the things they say and practice. And God's the judge, not me thank goodness.
