Read it....we all have learning lessons in our relationships with others. Some quite painful. I wouldn't get too attached to this lady. If you let go it gives something the space to come back to you if it is meant to be.

I'm sure she must have the ability to flirt, and make her interest in a guy known - or else she'd never have dated.
I think you read too much into the "xoxox" on the end of her emails - I do the same when writing to all of my good friends.
I don't think you can predict how she's feeling about you, unless you either ask her, or make a move on her & see what happens. If you're interested in her, why not let her know, and see how she reacts? If you're not interested in her, she may be picking up on this, and while possibly being interested in you, she sees that the feeling isn't mutual.
Just because she is more highly educated than you academically, doesn't mean she sees men of the same situation as being interesting - it all depends on what she's looking for in a person. You may have the attibutes she wants, or you may not, but either way, it's probably not your education or social circles that are making her feel one way or the other.
Act on your own feelings - you can't know hers, and see what happens next.
Good luck

I know us women are suppose to have a sixth sense and know all these things, but it's impossible for me to tell how she feels about you...
It sounds like you two have a good open and honest relationship. In view of that, I think you should just ask her if she feels anything for you.
If that seems a bit weird or difficult, put it to her that since you two are such good friends, does she think you should see how compatible you really are together by dating.
Bring it up as though it's just a thought...a suggestion. Don't be too serious or pushy, so that if she doesn't like the idea there's no pressure on her.
Best of luck :)

If she keep,s talking about her ex then she,s not over him
and you could get hurt, so be careful and wait a while
because she might and probably will go back.
Good Luck

It sounds like a situation I am in. She may be afraid of ruining the friendship, but she could want more. You may just have to ask her out or even tell her how you feel.

the only thing you can do is talk to her and tell her how you feel.
