You answered your own question - they have lots of fun together. Why is that wrong?
The age gap may be something they want to think about if they get serious and think about marrying and raising a family. At 35 your female friend might want to have kids rather sooner than her 23 year old date. But that's something for them to discuss between themselves.

Except my girlfriend is 16 years older than I.
No it's not wrong. Love is love. Let them be happy. :)
btw, It's not uncommon for men to do this.

I was 36 and married a 27 year old woman. So what's the problem. Years in that range of life don't mean that much, i.e., not a problem.

Legally it is fine, but I would not be ok with it if it were one of my friends. I'd say 5 year gap would be ok, but 12 seems a bit much. But if they have fun and really like each other, then it's ok.

of course its not wrong, if he fell for her first then he knows he likes the more mature experienced women and older women wouldnt use men like him..unless she seduced him
