Not in the way other groups do. They talk about only the wicked will live on the earth. The scripture says that at the second coming, the righteous will be lifted up to meet Christ. Those who do will live on the earth during the millenium.

As LDS I don't believe in the man made doctrine called the Rapture. Traditional Christians never taught this and it wasn't until 1800's someone said with their interpretation that the church (all Christians) would be raptured in a pre tribulation
phenomenon. Hal Lindsey in his books in the 60s and 70s propagated this theory and more protestants helped made popular this theory. Films, books etc have been made of this.
Biblical it's not there unless you interpret this in such a weird way. As LDS I'm post trib. Catholics and Eastern Orthodox church which are older than the fundies have called this false doctrines and most protestants don't believe in this.

We believe in the 2nd coming of Christ, and know that one of the signs of his coming are there will be false Messiahs.
Ok, for all of those who get so angry with Mormons who supposedly don't follow the bible, can one of you tell me where this "rapture" business is found in it?
Seems to me that other religions make up their own biblical theories and add to the bible, the same thing they accuse us of doing.

I don't think they believe in rapture. But speaking of rapture, there is not one mention of rapture in the Bible. The Left Behind series that deals with the rapture theory let's you know that the book is considered fiction. Interesting, isn't it?
