but the leveller is sitting in my master bedroom like a 12 by 8 foot pancake. If you put your fingers under the edge you can lift sheets of it up at a time. Our master bedroom floor was not level properly when we bought our new home July 2007. What is our options please?

if it is cured, then it sounds like ur existing floor not prepped properly. i've used leveler on old farmhouses and new apartments and most floors inbetween and never had ur problem before. It has to stick to the existing floor before u can put flooring over it! if it has any movement at all, it will start to break up, beginning w/ micro cracks and soon it will pulverize and be just dust under ur flooring and all, including new flooring, will have to be redone, may even lose some of ur flooring in trying to get it up.
it sounds like there was dust (maybe const. dust?) or grease or wax or whatever still on the existing floor that is being leveled. It definately was not applied properly prepped/applied, i would def. make him redo it at his cost. u can try a small area or have a pro do a small area properly and then use that area to show ur contractor he did it wrong to force the issue. it's really very easy to do, he shouldn't have had this happen unless he just has no idea of what he is doing.
good luck,

I use leveller all the time. Never had that happen. They may have mixed it wrong. Or it may still not have cured all the way. Or they never properly cleaned the surface. How ever, If they are putting tile over it , It will probably still be fine as long as they use morter not glue to hold it down. Give it till morning and check it again. Laminate will go over it fine as well. Good luck.

I put down a lot of floors and the only feather finish I use to level is a product called ARDEX.........It will bond to anything including cement............it cost alittle extra but is well worth it..........
I have know idea of your situation or the guy doing your job but if I was you I would get someone that knows what they are doing because based on what you are saying that is not getting it done right..............
