Yes, one night I was laying on my couch and almost asleep when a soft voice spoke my name and said come with me. Then I was standing and looking at the sky and I could see my grandfather, he smiled at me and waved then he walked higher out of sight. A short time later the phone rang and it was my uncle telling me that my grandfather had died.

I believe a whole lot of people have misconceptions about angels. Unfortunately, popular secular culture has latched onto the idea of "winged people" and made them out to be little more than "full sized fairies". Case in point, Victoria Secret has this ad campaign where they dress women in next to nothing, strap a pair of fake wings on the woman's back and refer to her as an "angel". Others have this idealic notion that when someone dies, they come back as an angel. Not only is this not backed up by scripture, it is pretty well refuted by it.
Angels are beings created by God and are no more similar to humans than say dogs, biologically speaking anyway. They appear to have a similar enough appearance that many times they have been mistaken for people. The word "angel" litterally means "messanger" - they are God's messangers. Perhaps "errand runner" would be more apt, as they often perform tasks and not just deliver messages.
Get your information about angels from one and only one source - the bible. If you believe in God and the bible, then you believe in angels, plain and simple. However, because there is so much confusion about what an angel is exactly, when I say "yes I believe in angels", I may not believe what you think I do.

Yes I do believe in Angelic beings...The Bible states that many have been in the presence of an Angel without knowing,however personally I have never encountered one(or have I?)
I also believe in unexplainable phenomenon or miracles that are the result of fervent petition to God,through Jesus Christ. I have been witness to physical healings as well as other miracles that occured immediately after prayer...One of many that I have seen,was a coin that appeared in my hand after having prayed for God's provision...

You poor lady. Whats upsetting you? Know that God loves you very much. You are precious and loved by him. Here is a quick story:
I was drowning one time and the current kept on pulling me under the water yet I kept on fighting. I felt panicky and called out "grandpa". My Grandpa is dead. My Grandfather had 15 children and the eldest an athlete died drowning. I to am the eldest and for some reason as I was drowning I called to my grandpa. But I kept on getting pulled under the water as I gulped for air as the current let me come back up to the surface. As i came back to the surface I shouted "JESUS" and got dragged under again. As I resurfaced I shouted "JESUS" again. I then again was dragged under the water. On the third occasion after surfacing I shouted "JESUS". After this I felt calm and accepted the fact I could die. As I relaxed a bit all of a sudden I came out of the strong current and was pulled by another cross current into safer waters. I started breathing really heavy and got my breath back. I got a real sense that my life had purpose! Moreover I got a sense I should not be so crazy and rash. I got sense God had a plan for my life.
God loves you little one don't be afraid! For God is always with you! Pray to him more and ask Jesus to help and come into your life more every day.

You want sincerity when you ask the same question over and over? I was being nice by not posting, but you really are asking for it.
NO, I don't believe in angels, and I think that people who have "angelic experiences" need to have their heads examined.

Not only do I believe in the biblical angels, but I also believe in guardian angels, though I generally believe that guardian angels are people who are living and we pick them to be our guardian angel.

Yes I do believe in Angels...I never have seen them but I know they have protected me in some dumb situations that I put myself into. My goodness I never been in an accident -but too many times I should have been hit - its crazy! I thank God that He cares that much for me.

i haven't seen any but i believe one was talking to me a couple of days ago about something i needed to think about doing.not aloud of course but like a little more than my conscience and the suggestion had a lot more patience than i do these days, the words were all sensible and clear

I believe in them, never noticed a miracle, unless you count that time my basketball didn't roll into the cactus', that was pretty cool. ....
