It depends what you mean by real. Real as in, what Jesus would approve of if he was alive today, or real as in, what the church would consider its most faithful followers.
The first, I would say anyone who is walking in love. And being conscious of life, in a sense, those who reach or are searching for enlightenment.
The other, those who raise their hands in the front of the churches, those who go up to the front for prayer every week just to show they sinned but are faithful to their religion, those who have to convert everyone they see through fear. Those who think being a good person and loving people isnt enough, yet saying you believe in Jesus without doing the previously stated is...and the list goes on.

Real Christians show charity without expecting something in return. Real Christians do not pride in their faith or church involvement. Real christians are honest (you can take them for their word). Real Christians do not force their faith on others. Real Christian are kind to others. Real Christians are not addicted to alcohol or drugs. Real Christians are good parents, good husbands and good wives. Real Christians are patient and forgiving. Real Christians are committed to study of God's Word (Bible). Real Christians are thankful. Real Christians pray. Also real Christians are faithful to their local Church.

Behaviorally, real Christians are those who strive to live the Beatitudes by grace

The ones that act as Jesus did. Christ means anointed. Those that become anointed as he did and fill themselves with the holy spirit allowing themselves to be more than they were are Christians. Technically anyway.
Edit: As opposed to those that don't act any different than your average Joe. They don't seem very anointed to me.

those who accept the Gift God offered - His Only Son Jesus CHrist to live, die and ressurect for me/us. Those who, upon accepting this Gift of Salvation, try to live according to God's Holy Will.
