you know i have been getting great grades in school.. and have had girls tell me i am cute too.. but i have an occasional stutter which can get kinda worse at times! i wanna start dating so i was wondering whether girls will get turned off by a stutter! so what do you girls think? would you like to date guys like me?

I have uncles and cousins who stuttered and had marvelous marriages, so yes there are girls out there who choose their mates without being concerned if they stutter.

I also have an occasional stutter, that like you, has a tendency to worsen at times especially if I'm anxious or very nervous. I have never really been worried about guys noticing it.
Initially I always used to tell people "Sorry, I have a bit of a stutter" but these days I figure that if no one points it out, why should they have to know?
If it gets considerably worse, I strongly advise speech pathology. It may even be funded by your school or government depending on where you go and what country you live in.
I think that if a girl judges you on your stutter, she's too shallow to date anyway and just isn't worth it. So you shouldn't have any problems whatsoever - it's all about finding the right person.
