Like oh he's stupid.. he's so ugly. Why can't people accept the fact that he is a really nice person? My sister said one of the people in my grade were like I can't believe she would go out with someone stupid and ugly like him. That gets me so angry. It's really mean and p.issing me off. I know people always say ignore them, well, how can you when sometimes they say it right in your face and you just want to punch them? Has anything similar happened to any of you?

I know, it's REALLY hard, especially when they say it right in your face. I've been in that kind of situation before, it really sucks. I just tried to ignore it, but sometimes it gets tough. I just walk away, (or try to anyways) and not listen to them. Who cares if your going out with an "ugly" guy? They shouldn't. It's not their business. If he's nice, then THATS what counts, because your gunna look way different when your older. (Just look at pictures of Orlando Bloom as a teenager for proof. LOL) Either:
1) Ignore them and walk away,
2) Cuss them out,
Or
3) Punch em in the gut. =D

It depends on if they knew your boyfriend before you started going out or not. My best friend is going out with my best guy friend, but I still make fun of him because I knew him way longer than she did. You can't control what other people say about your boyfriend, and if you have a problem with that, then you should invite them to lunch or dinner with your boyfriend to see what a great guy is.

How about responding with, "I can't believe how some people are so rude and shallow."
Fortunately, as you get older, the people you see in school or work will become more polite and less catty on average.

Definitely! My gf was much younger than I am and my friends all were like "she is so dumb and immature" they didn't see that she was more mature and a lot nicer than they are. I just ignored them. I figured they were jellos they didn't have a sweet girl like her. People are hateful and mean. You will be much happier when you accept that.

yep lol except it was a girl who was supposed to be fat, ugly, and a complete idjit, so whenever somebod said that, the soonest time i could...i did punch 'em lol, cuz no matter how terrible they may seem, they're yhours but other idiots just can't just accept the idea of a "hot guy" (well thats what they say and they're always after me anyway...sadly) dating a complete retard, and they're racist anyway (shes jap) and that made me feel loads better, lol, thanks. finally, someone who understands!!! lol thanks, really, that made my day to know somebody out there feels the same way!

My once-good-friend's fiance talked crap about my fiance. Saying he was whipped and "gay" because he respected me. When I want to leave a party or whatever, my man says ok, let's go. That makes him whipped? So I said, (because this other guy has issues and we're all sick of it), my man is more of a man than you'll ever be. And all hell broke loose. So, now she has no friends, and he has no friends, and no one went to their wedding, cuz as we were leaving, he screamed that he didn't want us there.

well if you like the person that you are with then don't let them bother you most of the time people don't like to see other people happy when there not they don't see him or her the way you do so just bite you toung and let people talk your happy aren't you with this person that is all that matters people are just mean

Tell them straight up that you don't like to hear about it and the choices is yours, and you also could them, do they think they are smarter and more handsome than him. That will put them off.
