How do you feel about the "Real ID Act?" Does it qualify as a the "mark of the beast"?

I did look it up and it is for real for the most part.

Really it doesn't seem much different than the current ID.

I don't think this is the Biblical mark. But each step like this breaks down the resistance and then when the true mark is mandated there will hardly be a whimper. Besides that, Europe will most likely be where most of this comes from. They are far ahead of us with their national ID card.

Real ID was supposed to be implemented a while back but it received lots of push back. So it was delayed. When you think about it, it solves many problems and makes sense from the world's point of view. It addresses problems in security, immigration and identification. The technology is very close. Computers, GPS, RFID make it possible. The only problem I see is the world economy isn't connected enough for the support of the Biblical mark. Too many currencies. The mark handles that. Have you heard of globalization? The world's economies eventually will be connected. The environmental movement will also play a large role.


And this treaty (link below) is also important. It paves the way for a united EU with one leader much like the President of the U.S. (perfect position for a world leader - anti-christ)

It is MUCH different than any current ID system. Passport / ID / driver license all-in-one. Electronic commerce and tracking. RFID is being used in many businesses and products now. You can see the progression. This is big in terms of breaking down resistance and fear of the "Mark". All transactions go through the government mandated system of commerce. Complete control of who buys and sells. Should we be surprised? Do we believe Gods word or not. This is expected. To me it's exciting to see it unfold.

Its not the mark of the beast. If the government wants to find you they can. Do you have a lease, own a home, have a debit card, a job, cell phone or whatever?

Real ID just enforces a standard to prove you are who you are. A driver's license shows you are who you are if you get pulled over. I have a passport and travel so the government knows where I go. For a job, a mortgage, opening a bank account or whatnot all I need is my passport..... my real ID.

The only people who need to care about real ID is someone trying to get away with something.

It might be a precursor to it. If they eventually want to implant us with microchips then yes that probably will be. SO what can we learn from it regarding the nature of the beast? I conclude that government without God is the Beast and all religion (falsely so called) is the False Prophet. Time to get our spiritual affairs in order. 2008 is going to be a very rough ride. As you know, this is all a "set up" to get closer to the "final solution." The "hype" about the terrorists is a "ruse" to make folk more compliant to the government's whims. The next "step" will be to put that veritable "tattoo" on folks as a means for the devil to identify his followers. However, this is NOT what, we the public, will be told. All it does is set standards for things like a drivers license. Few states had to change their practices at all. The odds are you won't see any change at all.
