God's Infinite Mercy
[39:53] Proclaim: "O My servants who exceeded the limits, never despair of GOD's mercy. For GOD forgives all sins. He is the Forgiver, Most Merciful."
[39:54] You shall obey your Lord, and submit to Him totally, before the retribution overtakes you; then you cannot be helped.
[39:55] And follow the best path that is pointed out for you by your Lord, before the retribution overtakes you suddenly when you least expect it.
Idol Worship Nullifies All Work
[39:65] It has been revealed to you, and to those before you that if you ever commit idol worship, all your works will be nullified, and you will be with the losers.
[39:66] Therefore, you shall worship GOD alone, and be appreciative.

You ask what could be a loaded question. There are some people, perhaps new to the faith, who have trouble overcoming previous habits or ways of life. Think about it, how many people have tried to quit smoking or drinking, tried and failed, and so on? Do we chastise them for their failures? No, we try to encourage them.
In the same way, some Christians do have trouble with various sins and other issues. Some come from a result of what they had done before they trusted Christ as Savior. It happens. Others refuse to take appropriate action. Still more do not quit what they don't need to do anyway--example, I don't know of anybody who is currently addicted to porn that was forced to watch the first video or whatever. Nobody made an alcoholic take the first drink. Enough said.
The good news is that the grace of God extends to all people in the same way. Nobody needs more or less, we all need all of God's grace. He will forgive and continue to do so. But, to be complete, sometimes He will let us live with the results of our sin. He can forgive someone who was in an accident and, say, lost a leg, but I don't know of anyone who grew a new leg. Bryan Arnold, formerly of the group Chosen Few, was in an accident and has a paralyzed left arm. He even said that God could give him the use of his arm, but he admitted that it would have to be a miracle if it were to happen.
A final story: it was told that a certain man kept coming to the church, praying, "Lord, please clean up the cobwebs in my life". After a few weeks of this, one other person came up and said, "No, Lord, don't clean up the cobwebs, but please kill the spider!"

Repenting doesn't just mean saying "sorry". It is a sincere apology and as such, behind it should be the commitment to not do that sin again. Naturally that means taking steps to avoid that sin, such as an alcoholic avoiding parties where beer will be served. Of course, according to Christian beliefs humans are sinful creatures and it's not surprising if the person recommits a sin.

First, if the repentance is genuine, they should be asking God to help them get out of the struggle.
But Jesus said, "I do not say to you, up to seven times, but up to seventy times seven [that you should forgive a repentant sinner]" (Matthew 18:22). If this is the instructions he left for his disciples, how much more do you think God will forgive?
"He who endures to the end shall be saved" (Matthew 24:13).

Sounds like most Christians to me.
They go though a constant cycle of "sinning" and "repenting" instead of 100% devotion to their to their religion.

Controlling our senses are not that so easy especially our mind which is considered as our 6th sense and the most powerful of all and called the King of senses.
In order to control our mind we need to build good habits and practice detachment. If we are not in proper consciousness it is very hard , as the desire for sense enjoyment stays in our mind from the past experience and drags us.
Good association and hearing and chanting the glories of God can purify our senses and calms our mind. Propensity of material sense enjoyment and the urge for it can't be reduced by some material solution.
We need to taste something higher that is superior to the material sense enjoyment and then only our working senses calms down.

it is impossible to sin more than once! Adam and eve only sinned once, right! The what makes people think they can sinn more than once? Everyone was born in sin, so how can you be a clean person and still be human? Just a bit of common sense, and didn't Jesus use a bit of logic too?

WE ALL..have something in our lives that is a weakness
we by ALL means refrain from anything that would associate ourselfs to that weakness...........
and if one continues to repeat over and over
one is not really repenting at all , but is just going through the motions to satisfy ones self...........
GOD knows your heart........even tho you think you do
if it is continual GOD ISNT
HE DOES not associate with continual sin
YOU MUST GET REAL WITH HIM
and YOURSELF
if SIN is IN
GOD IS OUT
HE will NOT dwell in an unclean vessel
and if HE isnt there
then SIN WILL BE !!!!!!!!!!
