Of course, I want the stuff that Vienna listed, but that won't go under the tree, will it?

Since you want a wish list for camera equipment, here you go.

I'm thinking it's time for a small set of studio lights.
Nikkor 70-200 VR lens would be nice to replace the 18-200 for more serious work.
Graphite or composite tripod with a ball head.
Nikkor 35 mm f/2.0 lens as a stocking stuffer.

I'm avoiding the obvious and not saying a D300, although I wouldn't turn it down. I think I should just build on what I have until I get a few more miles out of the D200 and deserve a better camera. I've got to work to deserve the ones I already have!

Oh yeah. And a sandwich.

What I want wouldn't fit under a tree! I want a huge telescope with a camera mount so I can do some serious astrophotography. I'd settle for a digital camera with a good time lapse mode. A FLIR (thermal) camera would be a cool toy too. I already have the basics.

Same things I always want:

an end to child poverty
an end to animal cruelty
peace in the Middle East
respect for other people's religion
men stop beating their wives and hurting their children
a fix for Global Warming
clean air, clean water and plentiful food for everyone on Earth

Unfortunately, I'll probably get camera junk.

I'm not sure exactly which one. But a digital camera with a manual focusing lense. I love photography and would love to better my skills with more than just a reg digital camera.

More SD memory for my HP. Or a notebook to download my camera in the field.

And a sandwich.
