It's usually called "puppy chow."
Here you go:
Puppy Chow Snack Mix by Windchime
10 servings
20 min 20 min prep
1 (12 ounce) bag chocolate chips
1/2 cup butter
1 cup peanut butter
1 (12 ounce) box Crispix cereal or similar cereal
1 lb confectioners' sugar
Melt chocolate chips, butter & peanut butter over medium heat. Stir to blend.
Pour over Crispix in large bowl.
Pour confectioners sugar in paper grocery bag.
Add Crispix and shake vigorously until it breaks apart. Serve in new doggie dish.

DOG CHOW
In saucepan, melt: 1 c. chocolate chips 1 stick of butter
Take 1 box (medium) of Crispix cereal. Pour into paper sack. Pour above mixture over cereal and shake until coated. Take 1 1/2 cups powdered sugar and shake bag. Pour into big bowl.
