my employer bid a job wrong and is out of cash having promised me double wages for waiting a month for pay. now hes bitter and wants me to pay the taxes on this one job???? what should i do?

i have never paid taxes with him before and hes only making me do taxes for my pay on this job.

Not quite sure what you mean. Is it that you were an employee but now he wants to pay you as an independant contractor?

That is illegal.

Are you saying you've been working under the table for him for three years, and now for this one job he's going to make you do things legally? And your complaint is what?

You have been evading taxes - if and when you get caught you can be in some pretty major trouble - at a minimum, you'll owe a lot of money in back taxes, interest and penalties.

If you are an employee where the employer deducts payroll taxes, you are required to fill out Form W=4. If you are an independant contractor, you must fill out Form W-8. Sounds like he screwed up, so you should insist that he pay you as an employee, otherwise call the IRS payroll tax department and inform them.
