There are many stories based on religion. My point of interest is either personal experience of any sort or scientific evidence.

There are plenty( more than 100 books!) scientific work/evidence on life after death.Raymond Moody. Kuber-Ross and recently(2006) Deepak Chopra also went into the evidence of Life after Death. It all started while investigating near death experiences of 'clinical death' people in the hospital,You know, for example, certain heart patients go into clinical death and they are revived by resuscitation. When the doctor /researcher asked the experiences of such people, they came out with fantastic narrations suggestive of life after death or life after life! You may go through such scientific investigations.More than 100 books title are available by book search in http://www.shelfari.com

Actually, a glimpse of the other side (eternal life) is available 24-7. The unfortunate thing is that this level of inner knowledge is clouded over... but that life is there... always was there and always will be there.

This resource will give you a sense of how to know that by direct experience.

So don't think you have to have a near death experience to have that kind of knowledge. That is YOUR life, and it is there for you to experience first hand.

Thanks for the nice question.

People have reported 'seeing the other side', 'seeing the light', and other similar stories. However, these could just be products of the brain as it's shutting down. Even in situations where people have reported meeting up with a dead relative or so on, how is that any more real than having dreams? Be skeptical, kapeesh?

When Jairus' daughter was resurrected, Mark 5:35-43, she didn't give any such account of an experience.
The people begin to laugh scornfully at Jesus because they know that the girl is really dead. Jesus, however, says that she is only sleeping, in order to show that, with his God-given powers, people can be brought back from death as easily as they can be awakened from a deep sleep.

John 11: 1-44
Jesus adds: “Lazarus our friend has gone to rest, but I am journeying there to awaken him from sleep.”
This account of Jesus awakening his friend Lazarus from death, He, Lazarus didn't have anything to say about an experience.

Romans 15:4 For all the things that were written aforetime were written for our instruction, that through our endurance and through the comfort from the Scriptures we might have hope.
2Timothy 3:16 All Scripture is inspired of God and beneficial for teaching, for reproving, for setting things straight, for disciplining in righteousness,

My mother died a few months before I was to have hip replacement surgery.

On the eve of my surgery, I didn't sleep well knowing I was going under the knife.

It was in the early morning the phone rang. I answered it and the voice on the other end said I don't want you to be startled. This is your mother and I wanted to tell you everything is going to be all right. I love you and tell your brothers I love them. She then hung up.

I awoke to find myself in tears, realizing I had been dreaming. Yet, no one on this earth will every be able to make me believe I had not spoken to my mother. I believe it truly was a message from her from the kingdom of heaven where she is today. For she died a believer in Jesus Christ. And he said that all who believe in him will never die.

So my proof is this dream and the Word of God. What more can a man ask for.

Why you have doubt only about Life after death (which is something yet to happen)

Are you clear about life before birth?

Reincarnation has amassed scientific proof. The problem is that very few people will even consider it because of their beleifs.

those who believe in it say yes, those who dont say no. It depends what you think evidence is. I mean hard and fast evidence, probably not so much, "faith evidence" (peoples beliefs, and experiences they say they had) yes, they definetly exist.
