No it isn't because I often ask God to find me a parking place, you wont remember an actress called Katie Boyle, she used to ask her husband who had passed away to find her a parking place.

Trivial, yes, but still important. By small means God brings about great things...
So keep praying.
Personally, I feel that prayers of gratitude and love are often the most spiritually edifying.
But I pray for help with everything (including finding a car park, traveling safely, help with picking the right groceries, having a positive attitude, being confident, etc). It never does any harm, provided you always leave in that little proviso, "... nevertheless, not my will, but thine be done."

You are free to ask God for anything you like. However, I wouldn't have high expectations with this one.
If God thinks there is a reason He should intervene on your behalf for a parking space, then He will. I would also consider the posibility that He might hope that you would find a better use for prayer.

'God' is 'sposed to see the fall of a sparrow. I would presume being an omnipotent and omniscient deity myself, god (he, she or s hit) would regard ur parking prob on an equal basis on the cosmic scale of things. What I tend to say when it fails or when it is without my grant 2 give is..'it's god's will!'..and when happy chance conspires 2 make it so..I say..'It's a miracle!' On a bad and malevolent day I might say the gas ovens r a good parking space for 6M jews. Be careful 4 wotu ask!
OK godsquad! which 1 of u did this?..own up!..I won't be merciful, but I will be quick..save me the trouble of tracing u.. then I won't be quick! LOfL!

why waste time and effort asking an imaginary god to find you a place to park your environmentally unsound machine.
walk instead and rejoice in the beauty of this planet, and work to protect that, not dwell in the past which you have no control over, or wish for a present over which an imaginary god will not bend for your pleasure.

Depends if he has been on time management training? I think he would just prioritise your request & give it the response it deserved. Anyway God is old hat now isn't he? The horned one is much more relevant.

Jesus said that the very hairs on our heads were numbered by God. God is infinite and compassionate and He exists outside of time and space. While finding a parking space is trivial in comparison to the holocaust, it isn't like God doesn't have enough time or resources to answer prayers like that.
As to why so many died in the holocaust, God only knows for sure why He allowed that to happen. I know that God was watching it happen just like He was watching when his dear Son Jesus was beaten up, had a crown of thorns smashed down on His head, and strung up on a cross like a common criminal.
Just like the people who killed Jesus will have to pay for what they did, so too will the perpetrators of the Holocaust.
Psalms 73:1 A psalm of Asaph. Surely God is good to Israel, to those who are pure in heart. 2 But as for me, my feet had almost slipped; I had nearly lost my foothold. 3 For I envied the arrogant when I saw the prosperity of the wicked.
4 They have no struggles; their bodies are healthy and strong. 5 They are free from the burdens common to man; they are not plagued by human ills. 6 Therefore pride is their necklace; they clothe themselves with violence. 7 From their callous hearts comes iniquity; the evil conceits of their minds know no limits. 8 They scoff, and speak with malice; in their arrogance they threaten oppression. 9 Their mouths lay claim to heaven, and their tongues take possession of the earth.
10 Therefore their people turn to them and drink up waters in abundance. 11 They say, "How can God know? Does the Most High have knowledge?" 12 This is what the wicked are like always carefree, they increase in wealth.
13 Surely in vain have I kept my heart pure; in vain have I washed my hands in innocence. 14 All day long I have been plagued; I have been punished every morning. 15 If I had said, "I will speak thus," I would have betrayed your children.
16 When I tried to understand all this, it was oppressive to me 17 till I entered the sanctuary of God; then I understood their final destiny. 18 Surely you place them on slippery ground; you cast them down to ruin. 19 How suddenly are they destroyed, completely swept away by terrors! 20 As a dream when one awakes, so when you arise, O Lord, you will despise them as fantasies.

Your point is that He did nothing then? Well, Darling, He's certainly not going to be arsed to find you a parking space, is He? Try hard to be a better person.

I've always wondered why we ask him for any of our wants. He is omniscient, he knows everything --
Plus -- As humans, what we want isn't always whats best for us.
So why bother him with "what you want."
1.) He already knows
2.) What you want isn't always best for you
Instead ask him for what you need.
