Believe it or not..you should never bathe a dog more than once every 6 weeks (minimum). Their fur is different our hair and the oils are produced less as well. You can irritate the skin severely by too many baths. If the dog is unbearable (odour wise) then go ahead, but for your dogs skins sake..no more than once every 6 weeks.
I have been told this by both groomers and my vet for both my dogs. I have a husky that practically lives outside and is full of mud but I still shouldn't bathe her often.

According to vets you should only bathe your dog every 3 months. Too much will cause dry skin. I usually give a bath once a month though. Mine are also inside but they do play outside so they tend to get an odor and sometimes muddy. If you use any kind of flea med that is applied between shoulders, bathe 3 days before. Flea meds work with the oils on the fur and won't work if they have just been bathed. Just learned that about a month ago. Just shareing.

I have a JRT, along with 3 big dogs..lol....He hasn't needed a bath in about 3 months. He is an inside dog, and in the winter only goes out to potty. Since your girl is so young, she shouldn't need a bath hardly at all. Especially in the winter. You can invest (rather cheaply) in some non-scented baby wipes to get the general dirt off, and that way it won't dry out her skin. I go cheaper yet and just use a wet washcloth on mine. It gets the loose hair, and dirt, but not the dryness of shampoo.

no more than every 4 weeks but 6-8weeks would be better.
Small inside dogs shouldn't be getting that dirty so htey shouldn't need to be bathed very often unless htere is a medical reason and the vet tells you otherwise

1 a month should do it. Unless she is smelly or dirty, of course. If you bathe her to often, her skin can dry out.

i would say when she is dirty but try not to wash her more than 1-2 times a month as you will kill off the protective layer of the hairs.

"Animal Girl" no offense but you shouldn't wash it that often because that irritates its skin. i would say just whenever she gets dirty or unbearably smelly...

I would say once a week. Or just when ever she itches a lot, or smells.
