Im in 10th grade, and there is this girl that i just started talking to this year. I really like her, but she is shy. She doesn't go out and show people she likes them. I just got to being where i am a decent friend, but i don't want to ruin the friendship by asking her. I have a guess that she likes me, cause she'll look at me and she smiles no matter how dumb what i say is. She also does this thing where she will wave at me if come up to her by herself, and she never does that to anyone else. Before we were friends, i started out trying to be her friend first, but now i think she might think that i only like her as a friend.
The question is how can i tell if she likes me, and what would be a nice way to tell a girl thats a little shyer that i like her.

Don't ever tell her you like her with your words.... it will totally creep her out.
She likes you, by the stuff that you said she does...
smiling and waving... definate signs of her liking you.
You've done everything correct so far- establishing a friendship first.
start flirting with her ( sit up straight and look her in the eyes DONT stare, just make sure she notices you)
talk with her and ask her out for a coffee- give her your number and email if you havn't already...
get to know her better over the coffee...
then ask to take her out somewhere again...
she likes you and if you show her that you like her.... without telling her...
things will work out...
but if they don't, don't give up... the world isn't perfect and there are plenty of other fish in the sea.

just ask her to go out for something casual just dont wait around too long cuz then sometimes u waste ur time. Shy girls seem nice and innocent but also take a lot of time to make decisions on what they want, so if u have patience then take it slowly, but dont let it get to the point where u no she wont be anymore than ur friend.

Well if you just started talking to her then you should wait alittle more and get to know her more. When you think you know her enough you should go ffro it homie and ask her out ese!

I think it's safe to say she likes you! Go for it you don't have anything to lose. If she doesn't then hey now you know and you can stilll be friends.
