For example, if you were stalked and someone listened to everyone of your conversations and read every one of your e-mails and used all the information in your e-mail against you. Sent someone to physically harm you.

Hi:
Unfortunately yes, this is a very real situation and I do have two whole boxes of evidence. This man has been warned by the police already, hence the reason why he sent someone else. It is okay, this whole situation will be taken care of shortly.

Thank you for your concern William. I expect that this person has done this to other people in the past and seems to have mental health issues. Perhaps I should have worded this question a little better. The events have occurred. If you were in my shoes what actions would you take if the police took some action but perhaps not enough?

I wonder if you are describing a true situation that is happening to you or a situation that you believe is happening to you. If it is a true situation, print out all the emails and get statements from people who have heard him speak about you and take them to the police. If you are believing this is happening and it is just a feeling you may be suffering from paranoia. It is sort of like going to a football game and knowing the 11 guys in the huddle are talking about you and the 60,000 people in the stands are looking at you.
If you are truly not sure what your situation is then give what you have to the police and then go talk to a doctor who can help you sort through this. Personally I would prefer the paranoia, because no one would really be out to hurt me. I wish you the best in what ever happens. By the way I am not putting you down or suggesting you are lying, what I am trying to do is show you some options that you have.

Guess you should tell someone with authority and/or perhaps talk to a mental health professional for assistance (the conversation is confidential), that way they can't keep doing it and they are not able to do it to someone else. In addition any harm that has been done to you because of these actions can be worked through.

It is a horrible position to be in first off...if this is an 'ex',...then you need to try to prove to the police, and get all of your evidence together, to press charges of harrassment, stalking, and threats. You need to invest in a couple of security cameras, and tell a detective, that this person is doing this to you, and you fear for your life...but one thing to make sure, that you can prove all of this and if it takes time, so be it..but you can get it. and you can have people watch the stalker also..believe me, the police will help you, once you tell them what the person is doing

Sending somebody to harm me. I'd be doing God's work, and that person would not return home that night, or any other. If you must explain all this to someone in a confidential manner, take a cross town bus, and tell somebody on it. They don't know you, never will. It works.

That would be a time to call the police and get them arrested-I'd record them and then take the evidence to the cops,I'd need proof it was this person.

dont listen to those stupid people. my ex did the same thing to me. first you need to get evidence against him, such as emails, letters, pictures of him following you, ect. then you need to talk to a police officer. i would start with the one on your school campus (they all have at least one cop) ask them for help. espeacially if the guy goes to school with you. but you need to tell someone. my ex boyfriend did these things to me and i didnt tell untill i had a gun pointed at me twice. (luckily i got away with my life, one guy actually shot and it just skimmed my side so i had a gash wound, nothing too serious) but i finally told someone showing them all the emails, pics of him following me, recorded phone calls from him, or that i heard him listening it on, recorded everything he said to me... i told someone and hes now in jail. tell someone before it gets to the point where mine did
