I'm a Christian, and I think it's ridiculous. Not everybody on the planet celebrates Christmas. I'm perfectly happy to wish non-Christians (and the sects of Christians who don't, for varying reason, observe Christmas) "happy holidays". I hear the word "Christmas" plenty around here, and that's wonderful, but I'm equally glad to wish people a happy Yule, Kwanzaa, Hanukkah, or any other imaginable winter holiday. It's not all about us. There are other people in this world besides Christians. Shoving a holiday down everyone's throat isn't going to solve anything.

The REAL disciples did NOT call themselves Christians. They called themselves "Followers of The Way" or "Covenanters

Christ is taken from Christós which is Greek for anointed.
Most christains think its his surname.
However, Mašíaḥ, usually transliterated Messiah.

Both Kings and priest of Israel were anointed it was the custom.

Christ has has nothing to do with the Messiah of David.
Today Christainity has told different mean than when The children of the covenant began their witnessing of Yahoshua

I don't know where you're living, but here in Denver - Christmas is alive and well. Any bets if I started saying Merry Yule and Happy Winter Solstice I'd have Christians up in arms screaming that I'm trying to take away Christmas? I'm sorry - but I'm not Christian. So Merry Yule and Happy Winter Solstice. And finally - Merry Christmas. Say it all you want! No one is stopping you.

You've just about got it. Take it back and consider;
Smooth it out, make it jive, remove everything bitter.
A couple of phrases, they don't even rhyme,
But that can resolve, just give it some time.
I like what you've done so just work a bit more,
THEN I'll repeat it to friends, and colleagues and more!

Merry Christmas, kindred spirit.

I think if Christians want the holiday to be more religious, more about Jesus.... they should spend more time in CHURCH... not expect visits to malls and schools to substitute their prayer time.

Go to church every night. Take control of your own faith in your own time, don't expect all of society to promote it for you.

Well yes we should
Get rid of the word Christ,
in front of all children, men and all mice.
You see Christianity does not speak
for every woman, child or man,
it is a choice to believe it
and not all American's can

A lot of presumption with no accuracy. I don't have the Christian bias, so I may see things more accurately.
