Hello. You need to file for an extension with the USCIS, stating the reason why you need an extension. You have to apply for this well before your current visa expires.
Eligibility Requirements: Anyone currently in the United States on a B-1 or B-2 visa may file for an extension of stay. However there are no guarantees that the application will be approved. The USCIS takes into consideration factors that show your intention of departing the United States at the end of the proposed extension period.
