over wide egg noodles. I was thinking about cooking some peas. Is that enough or do I need something else to go with it?

A great answerer gave me the butter/mushroom idea a week or so ago. I didn't put it over noodles that day and my hus said it was good, but he thought it would be even better over egg noodles (he likes them). I like the asparagus idea, but he just won't eat it and I try to get veggies in his belly whenever I can.

A salad would augment this dinner nicely, otherwise I think you've got it covered. Instead of a greens salad I occasionally serve a fruit salad (cut up fruits with orange juice). It's a change most at the table will love and it's really good for them.

I think Chardonney would go well as a beverage. French bread would be a very good side dish, or a vinigarette salad, but I think you have a lovely meal already prepared.

Oh! Rosemary potatoes. Take some steamed potatoes and chop them up. Then place them on a cookie sheet that has been covered with foil. Coat them in olive oil and dried rosemary then cook until golden brown (about 45 minutes) in an oven set at 350*.

Before I saw the noodle text, I was thinking about garlic cheese grits. The asparagus recommendations were also a great idea. I'd serve a Shiraz with Venison...Chardonnay is too light.

Like heather said, red cabbage. Don't forget the cloves and potatoes. Cranberries are also recommended.
