He should be nervous - you're about to go through a lot of ups and downs with your divorce, and he's going to be Rebound Man!
If I were him, I wouldn't have even gotten involved in the first place.
Sorry.

By the time we're 34 we all have some baggage, and a single mother tending to three children doesn't have time to also babysit some guy who doesn't understand what life's about yet. If he has to bounce, let him. There are other men out there who aren't so fragile who would love to spend time with you. Good luck to you, and Happy Holidays.

Possible, When I was single I avoided women with kids because it was too easy to get attached to the kids. It's not too hard to leave a woman that is not right but it almost killed me to leave the child. So I said never again. Sorry this is probably not what you wanted to hear.

Hun ,you need to fix your leaking boat before you can go sailing.Keep him close, but dont let him feel like a rebound.Build a friendship with him and I'm sure things will work out. You're 34,you should be more mature by now to talk about these things with him...

Most guys I know who are your age (my age too) don't want women with children and ex husbands that they have to deal with. Too much drama.
I am your age and have no kids - They tell me if I wasn't already married that I would be on the top of their list.

Not all guys are like that. I personally don't mind kids at all.
