A girl in my english class. were friends, kinda like jim and pam from the office..she has a bf and he has even asked her to marry him but she told me she said no, that it didnt feel right at the time. She knows that i like her a lot, and she said that she is kind of getting mixed feelings. all of her friends like me better then her boyfriend. Last night we had watched a movie together...just as friends, as soon as i was about to leave, i grabbed her arm and told her that im in love with her. She was speechless. but not in a bad way. i just need to know what should i do? i mean ive written her a couple of poems, told her to listen to the words of a few songs. and laid my heart on the line. What should I do???? some1 plz give me some advice.

let her decide and don't pressure her, be smarter than her boyfriend, and try to be friendly to her friends, because if you are friendly with them, they'll tell her that you're a nice guy, and that will help you out, because remenber she might talk about this with her friend and if they like you, they'll say nice things about you to that girl that you like.

Damn.... you pretty much laid it out for her to freak out about it.... The truth is, it's gonna become a game that might last years. Just keep moving forward, when she's in the picture and when she's not... eventually, you guys might "cross the line" and then it's a whole new game where there's no going back.
I had a similar situation, and it gets depressing and frustrating at times... pretty much just like Jim and Pam in seasons 1-3. But remember, he kept moving forward no matter what.....
On the bright side, after 9 years of the friend stuff i went through with my girl, we ended up together and we're both having a kick *** time!

I think you did the right thing by telling her the truth about how you feel for her. It was a really brave thing to do, but it seems you have done all you can do. Let her decide and dont rush her. And dont make her choose between you and the boyfriend, because you never know who she will choose. She seems like a great girl, she will make the best possible choice she knows how to. But you could also try talking with her, sit down and ask her if she feels the same way about you, as you feel about her. Dont wait until its too late! Good luck with everything, but if thinks dont work out there are always plenty of other girls that will like you ;)

jim & pam were meant for each other :) keep talking to her often, and those cute little things like you've been doing. hopefully she'll come along & lose the bf if she really does like you better. don't give up!! I send the best of luck to a fellow office fan! :)

First of all breathe! Now take a step back. She knows you how you feel. She needs time to process all of this. Give her some room. You don't need to tell her anymore about how you feel. You will only push her away.
All you can do now is wait. Take a time out for yourself and just let whatever is going to happen to happen. Let me also say congratulations for having the guts to tell her how you feel!! =)

Time is vicious, i know. She probably needs time to think...get her feelings straighened out, then i'm sure she'll make the right choice. Keep doing what you're doing, every girl loves to be told that someone loves them...other than family (unless ur married). Be senstive to her needs, but still let her know how you feel.

Well first off don't scare her, like give her some space. She's probably confused enough if her bf asked her to marry him. If she is interested in pursuing a relationship with you then she will but it will most likely take a long while. Wow, thats pretty wild. Sounds like you're on the way, but lay off the gifts and sappy stuff. Think "romantic hero" James Bondish -- strong, confident, etc.

Ask her out, if she would likes you more than her boyfriend. You're kinda in a mix-up situation with her, but heck, it's love - no one truly understands it.

i say you keep on trying to get her and if she doesn't make up her mind in a few weeks then give her the silent treatment for a couple of days and then talk to her again like nuthing is wrong she'll be dying to talk to you by then
and shell realize that she loves you
