It is followed by "Please contact your system administrator for help" I am trying to download games from Bigfishgames.com. That error message pops up. I have vista. Also, how can I fix it?

You must login as "administrator".

it is probably because your not on administrator level. (your most likely using a limited account...)
to fix this would require you to either ask the other person who uses the computer to make you an administrator. if they do not know how to do it, then follow these steps:
go to the control panel and look for the user accounts option (if you cannot find this, on the left side click classic view... that should make it a little bit easier...)
from there it should be pretty self explanitory...

if your parent/guardian, etc. does not want to give you this status so you can play these games, then follow these steps.
Restart your computer in safe mode (basically restart your computer the press one of the buttons it tells you to in order to reach the setup menu when first seeing it boot up. i can't really tell you whcih button it is because they are really diff from bran to brand but is should be something like F5)
when everything is loaded up, there should be an account called administraor. click on it and you should be able to log in.

if that does not work, then go to http://home.eunet.no/~pnordahl/ntpasswd/
and create a cd or disk for yourself and from there create whatever password you need to...

(more than likely you can just enter in your original windows vista cd and try to reset the password from there)

the login account you have does not have administration rights , or maybe vista only allows the administration account to install stuff.

Hi,

Vista is very protective as to what it allows you to install on your PC.

To install you need to be logged in as the Administrator or have administration privileges on your login.
