Between God and Satan it is a matter of power. We know God won the first battle. Satan is a master recruiter, there is no doubt about that. He is the Liar, the Dragon. Satan is second only to God. He is Lord of the World. This will be especially visible during the Tribulation Period. After the first 3 1/2 years, Satan will literally rule the Earth. Unfortunately, that rule will be for only 3 1/2 years and then Jesus is going to show him up. Read the Left Behind series. Its fictional, but you get an idea what the devil will do here physically on earth.

If Satan were perfect, he'd still be in charge of heaven's legions. As it is, he is known as "the Fallen One" whose kingdom is far from eternal. It's destruction has already been decreed, and in fact, is already crumbling in desperation here on earth.

satan existed before man creation.
man was created to capture satan and put into hell(JESUS is the man and we are His associate/body ofChrist.in unity as HE IS..SO ARE WE in this WORLD)
before satan roams destroy, ect..note earth was dark.cover in water void, chaos.
then time began..time never existed.
NOW satan is stuck in a time that expires.
which means satan is trapped. and in due season..his roaming as a roarking lion will come to an end..through man born again and SON oF GOD. satan is an idiot.
a liar, great deciever(his job)
and we has recieve the keys of the kingdom of heaven..(above the earth note that) and we can bind satan..by spirit and by faith. that why faith is important..and faith works by HEARING and HEARING the words of OGd..over and over..so that our INNER MAN.the spirit man..is getting FED of the spiritual words of GOD..of power.of love and sound truth.

If what the Bible says is true, then he certainly has far more people in his control than does heaven. Only a very small portion of history's population has believed in Jesus.
