It's easiest if you do your cutting in easily concealable areas - such as upper arms (wear sweaters and long-sleeved shirts), upper leg/thighs (easily concealed by pants or knee-length skirts), etc.
I won't go into the whole "cutting is wrong" lecture - I'm sure enough people are going to do that for me. I know what you are going through - my ex was a SEVERE cutter, and we had to make numerous trips to the ER for stitching up deep cuts...

I have done everything from something as simple as a bandaid to make-up to wearing a hair tie on my wrist to keep it unnoticed.
I even started to wear a leather cuff for a while just to use something thick enough to cover the 2 or so inches from my wrost that I tend to burn.
I have 1 big (the size of a dime) scar on the underside of my wrist from where I usually burn and a bunch of other scars from where I have used nail clippers and just tore into my arms and chest.
Using a Green Tinted conceler stick (Physicans formula makes a great combo stick - green and 'neutral' or flesh toned for various skin types) that works great to cover up the wound and the resulting scars.
Over all though you should try to STOP CUTTING.
Theripy, Welbutrin XL, behavioral therapy...
They all help...
I was told that "Normally" a person tends to "Grow Out Of" Cutting by the age of about 23... I'm 26 and still do it so as usual nothing fits every person. Luckily I'm down to about twice a year...
Good luck! *HUG*

I used to be a cutter too. I don't do it anymore though. But, when I did used to cut, I would cover it up with makeup. I would advise not to cut yourself, because someone wanted to wear my jacket one day and I told them no, and they just took it off of me. When they did this they saw my cuts and ran and told the counseler the next day. And then there I was in the counseler's office for the next 2 weeks. Erg. Anways. Same thing happened to like 4 of my freinds. Someone will eventually find out. But anyways, I am babbling now.

I cut where I can cover it up with clothes. For example I cut on my thighs and wear jeans.

My friend use to cut her wrists. She almost died one time because she cut to deep and shed a lot of blood. I went through hell and back with her. If you are cutting you wrist, please stop. If you want a sense of relief, hit a pillow, scream with your mouth to the pillow, write in a diary, write poetry. There are healthier ways to get a sense of relief then to try and bleed it out. God bless and Happy holidays.

i did that a couple months ago.
i hid it by always wearing a long
sleve shirt or just a jacket on my
arms to cover my wrists.
the one day i wore short sleve pajamas,
my mom saw them and freaked.
watch out man, scary stuff.
