All well and good saying does he want you back but do you want him back if so don't what for uncertainties u need to make it clear to yourself first if you want him back
As for him its unclear but it sounds like hes interested in you if hes paying more attention to you than the 'girl he like i think the answer is obvious.
Just be careful on the approach, make it subtle and ask about the relationship you had before find out his feelings on the past, an see if he care about problems you have had, depending on his reaction you should see if hes interested or even Worth it.
PS have you seen this 'girl'

If he is treating you like he treated you when you were a couple, then he still likes you, but he continues to say he is interested in another girl to get you jealous and wanting him, too.

u should trust me caz im tha only guy so far that isnt saying something perverted, and tha girls just dont kno, but he wants you bac, but is scared to ask u, caz u guys broke up, and he doesnt wanna seem like a hopeless loser.
