what i mean by that is i find it very hard to get emotional attention or attachment to males. The males make it very hard to do that. Or if they hear the word emotional attachment or emotional attention it like scares them away. Does any ohter females or males have this problem? OR is it just me?Thanks for your answers.

Its not just you, because of the way guys back off once they know how you feel i find it very hard to tell someone how i feel about them for fear of rejection, i'd rather not say anything than get hurt.

Yes - I am experiencing that same exact problem. The last 2 women I dated were devastated when I wanted to stop seeing them, but I didn't really get too upset. I do think it has to do with being hurt in the past. I think I have built up an emotional wall towards women. I would like to actually be "in love" someday though, so I have been talking to a counselor about it.

The only reason why I have problems attaching myself emotionally to a Guy is that there is too much work and drama involved. especially when you have to start all over with someone new. Its too draining sometimes. You kinda just wanna let the good times roll for as long as they will. Also There is the issue of deciding whether your feeling love or lust. Most of the time I just feel lust. Its not always sexually, it's just the lust to have someone around to make you happy for a minute. That's usually how long lust lasts.

Honey, when you're culling the herd in search of that special Bull, you step in a TON of B.S.
Usually when you're just about to, or have given up searching that special man starts chasing you down.
Keep the faith and a smile on your face, but waste no time on the questionable. If any part of your gut says No about a man you've started dating, leave early and save yourself a lot of BS on your shoes ;)

oh definitely..i don't know if its cause i grew up with a useless dad but i always had issues with guys and connecting with them in relationships. thankfully im in a greaatt relationship now though. :)
