If your asking someone to give you $300, its not going to happen. You need to go adopt a puppy. Shop around at animal shelters/SPCA ect. Then, you need to start paying into a monthly pet insurance policy. There are some cheap ones out there. $10-$15 a month. Only 120-180 a year. If you can't afford that, you can't get a dog. Sorry.

As far as trying to make $300. Walk around your neighborhood, ask neighbors if you can wash their car for a few bucks, mow their lawns, powerwash their driveways. All of these can make you some quick cash.

Just remember, a dog is a big responsibility, and only do it if your ready to accept that, as well as fork over the cash to get it neutered, and get it heartworm medication, and get it its shots, etc. There's alot of expenses, I guarantee you will probably spend about $300 within the first year if your buying it as a puppy.

You can put any money you earn into a savings account and then get a dog when you can afford one.

You do not NEED a puppy. $300 is not a lot of money when it comes to dogs - considering that spaying may be $200, an emergency vet appt can be $2000, shots and check-ups will be $100, general visits will be $50, etc.

If you are having trouble coming up with the $300 to get a puppy, you are not going to be able to afford it. How will you feel if your dog has a treatable illness, but you can't afford the $300 for the treatment, so you let your dog die? Or if he gets hit by a car and needs $1000 to fix his broken leg?

FOr $300, the only pets you can really get a badly bred dogs or rescue dogs. So, if it's not a rescue dog, that $300 is going to be WAY more than that in vet bills, VERY QUICKLY.

Please, don't get a dog until you can afford it for the rest of its life. Through sickness and health.

Okay say you get the money for the actually pup....do you have food? toys? a crate? vet money for shots???? There is way more to think about when wanting a dog or any animal for that matter than just the upfront money for the actual animal. Please wait until you can afford the dog before you get one. If you are low on cash but can defianately afford food and care then go to a shelter and adopt-they are way cheaper and you will be saving a poor dog's life.

If you're not kidding I'd be more inclined if I wanted to give $300 away to give it the animal shelter. You came to the wrong place if you don't have enough money to buy a puppy, there's not a person here who would condone borrowing money to allow you to get a puppy that you will be unable to feed and care for properly.

How are you going to afford vet bills? Grooming? Food? Toys? Bed? Clothing? If you do clothing on the dog. But seriously are you going to have the funds? Puppys are not cheap!!!!! I spent over 210 bucks, in the fist 2 weeks i had him, on food, shots, toys, bed etc.

If you can't afford one, consider the cost, it isnt a one time fee.

If you have a stable income, go to the shelter.

so if u cant afford to buy the dog how will u afford to care for it, feed it, take it to the vet, buy it toys, and collars, and leashes. all the necessities. if u cant afford the dog u cant afford the care for one either. having money for the dog itself isnt enough.
