We do it slightly different from above. We heat the sauce first until hot (about 2 hours on high), then toss in the frozen meatballs, stir well, and cook another 2 hours on high and then turn it down to warm. The hot sauce cooks the meatballs faster and they keep their shape better.

1 lb. ground beef
1/2 c. oatmeal
1/2 - 3/4 c. milk
1 egg
Minced onion
1/2 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
1/8 tsp. nutmeg

Mix all ingredients. Brown meatballs. Put 2 cubes beef bouillon with a little water in crock pot. Add meatballs. Heat - watch so it won't burn.

Spray crockpot w/ nonstick spray. Toss in frozen meatballs. Top w/ whatever sauce you like, cover, and set on HIGH for 2 hours, or LOW for 4 hours. Stir occasionally.

You should heat them in the sauce in the CrockPot on low heat so you don't ruin your CrockPot or your meatballs. I can't tell you how long but I know low heat is key to any meat, cooked or uncooked. Hope this helps! Remember figure skating is better than hockey but it's still koolio!
