How long until a civil war breaks out in the UK?

Question

The UK's been filling up with immigrants left right and centre, especially so over the last 10yrs, Enoch powell has almost been proved right.

I reckon within 20yrs this country will be turned into a Muslim state and our British values will be gone. The country will be left to ruin much like 99% of the Middle East.

They bleed our benefit system dry, have babies quicker than i can ask this question, rarely work (often taxi drivers or small businesses to avoid tax), get on the housing list as soon as they're feet touch our soil and believe they have to stand on the toilet in case a prophet drops out of their backside. God help us all.

I live in Sheffield, UK and a huge Mosque has been "assembled" from Ikea nr the city centre, the council ok'd the plans with open arms, looks like something out of toys r us, apparently plans for another have been submitted, do you think I could build a church is Baghdad?

I am alone in wanting to pack my bags and take my trade abroad?

Or you can think about what has always happened to our great country. Immigration has always happened. I have worked in Whitechapel. East London has always has immigration. Before the war, it was Jews. After the war, Asians, more recently, mostly Bengali's and now Somali's. The history of our country is based on immigration, going back 2000 years.

The nature of the UK has always changed, and will always change. 200 years ago, most of us would know our place, being denied access to university education and the like. Do you want to go back to those times?

And on the point of Muslims, most immigration recently is actually Christian. This is as most immigration has originated from Eastern Europe, many people being Catholic.

Good question but no problem was ever solved by running away. If, as you say, it can happen here in 20 years it would happen 20 years later wherever you go to.
Thankfully I don't think Enoch's prophecies will ever come about but at the same time we should be espousing our cultural values (few as they are) and demanding that those who wish to settle in this country can speak the language and can show a willingness to integrate. If they can't show either why should they want to settle here?
As an ex-serviceman I was told many years ago that whether I agree or disagree respect the values, the traditions and the cultures of any country we visited is it too much to ask those that wish to settle here to do the same?

Hopefully he will establish funding for rebuilding and sustaining the new Iraqi government, and implementing policy and diplomacy to allow their growth. But will they ever embrace democracy? The civil war is happening. We're just the foreign national guard preventing the sectarian violence from becoming an all out blood bath in the streets. Will we be able to maintain the status quo until Iraq is stable? Can we afford that as a nation?

A civil war in Britain isn't likely until the country pushes the 30-40% Muslim mark and by then the more dire warning signs should have emerged. That should happen in around 30-50 years depending on immigration and population growth/decline. If the native Brits don't toss them out now, your grandchildren will have to drive them into the sea or have the same done to them.

Enoch Powell was so wrong, he said that forty years ago and I still have not seen the monarchy gone nor the huge influx he mentioned and besides your point on Muslims becoming a majority would mean that they would have to have at least fifty million in Britain in a few years. Unlikely really. Muslims make up less then 1.7% of the population and that includes converts to islam that are White Caucasians there will never be a majority of muslims in any european nation. People who come into Britain do not jump the qeue for housing that is a myth that the BNP & Enoch Powell love in's would like us to think. A few years ago it was single mothers they were blaming for the fact people are waiting longer, while in truth the reason was the housing was sold off by Thatcher. It is not the fault of any new comer to Britain that the Conservatives sold off and never bothered to keep building social housing. Instead of blaming immigrants for waiting on the housing list blame Margaret Thatcher and her party its her fault for selling off houses and not replenishing the housing stock at the same time.

I don't think the coming civil war in the UK will be racial or over immigration, unless you count millions of disgusted Britons of all races turning on a tiny handful of BNPers and rending them limb from limb.

I think there MIGHT be a civil war between those who are led by businessmen who decide it makes more sense to join the EU as one among equals, and those who are led by businessmen who want to keep whoring for and kissing the behinds of my bosses here in the U.S.

You can't keep trying to tap dance down the middle of the Atlantic. You'll have to decide sooner or later. And all the racial nonsense is fake, and can only distract you for awhile.

If you don't hook up more closely with the EU, and create a unified European military, how long do you think it will be before my bosses decide to try a direct takeover of Britain, Ltd. and operate it as a direct subsidiary of USA, Inc.?

The only thing that can prevent such things, U.S. takeover or civil war, would be a socialist reconstruction, either in your country, or mine.

So what's your point? You're angry that the Muslims are building a mosque? Just because the Middle East doesn't have proper freedom of religion means that the UK shouldn't either?

It will never happen man, but if you really feel that way and you have the resources by all means move to Baghdad and build a Church. You'll be protected by the might of the USA, in perpetuity, as a fine example of democratic christian entrepreneurialism (and probably be guarded day and night by a multiracial American troop force).
But, you might have to learn to like eating falafels instead of bangers and mash and the roast beef of old England will definitely be off the menu.
