Help!~!!!! Does he like me???!?

I'm in the 8th grade and I like this guy named Anthony(AJ) (Please none of that "you are too young" crap) I think he may like me but Im not sure. He is always staring at me and he seems jealous of my guy friend. His eyes get big when we talk (which isnt often cuz both of us are shy) When we do get the chance to talk he acts excited and really happy to be talking but also nervous. He tries to sit next to me in SS class all the time. I sometimes notice him listening to my convos and sometimes he starts talking with the person Im talking to jst so he can be in the convo. When AJ is with his friends they sometimes look over at me. There is a down side tho. He has a lot of friends that r girls and i think one my like him. Olivia and him always talk and he mostly talks to her infront of me. They have known eachother a long time and ride the same bus. Idk if he is just good friends with her or if he likes her and not me... So what do you think? Can you give me advice on how to get closer? Thx
