Unless you know how to be your own lawyer (a friend of mine occasionally is), I would strongly recommend that you find a good lawyer for any court case, not just this one.

Absolutely! Get the best lawyer you can afford to protect your rights and your daughter. If you have proof that he uses drugs, all the better. The court will not take you word for it. Get ready and be prepared for the fight of your life.

Get a bloody good lawyer and get custody. Its stupid of anyone to let youngsters be in the care of someone who uses drugs. Who knows what he might do one day while he is high. This is so dangerous, I hope you are smart enough to act on this quickly and efficiently.

You should get a lawyer. Start getting a list of friends, family, coworkers, etc.., that are willing to testify that you are a good mother or that can back you up about him not being a good father, drug addict etc...,

Of course, you need an attorney! They have help financially if you need it! Do you not already have legal custody of your child from t he divorce? Try to get factual info on the amount of time your ex spends with your child and who actually is taking care of her! Good luck!
