If so, did it work? I've tried teatree oil before for that because I know it works as an antifungal but no such luck. I am hoping colloidal silver works.

i haven't tried it, but i used to work for a chemical lab doing research on medicated shampoos (about 25 years ago). The challenge of using something like colloidal silver is getting enough of the silver dispersed on you skin in high enough concentrations for enough time time to kill the fungus. Colloidal suspensions tend to rinse off too easily unless they are mixed with something that allows you to massage them into the pores. Maybe it would work to apply the silver to your scalp while the hair is still damp, but not dripping, after a shower?
