Do White folks not want Black folks at their Christmas celebrations?

I have a dream one day right there in R&S little black boys and black girls will be able to join hands with little white boys and white girls and celebrate Christmas together.

Did the Grinch steal people's sense of humor this Christmas? C'mon people! I'm taking a jab at Holiday political correctness!

One of the most meaningful Xmas's of my life I spent in a trench in Nam with a dear black friend of mine. We were all doing "shotguns" and laughing like we were nuts. Which we pretty much were.

When they say "Dreaming of a white Xmas.." it means Snow not skin color...
I always see that people post race questions on here. I know racism still exists and I am sorry but where i am from it is never a problem. We are all friends. I have several Nigerian friends especially. I never hear of it around here and If I did I would knock someone out. Im sure alot of people would. If my friends wanted to come to Xmas at my house they would be more then welcome-but they are usually at their familys house. the only friend that does come to my house for ALL holidays isnt white. Hes Spanish. Hes like my brother too. I just dont understand why i see things liek this all the time

White Christmas refers to snow. Snow is white.

Your dream has come true.
I teach 3rd grade. I have 19 children: 6 black, 6 Hispanic, 5 white, 1 American Indian. They are all Christians. They all celebrate together.

If you have this dream, why, then, do you promote disharmony?
Why do you constantly attack Christians?

You are contributing to prejudice with your attacks. You are not promoting peace.

You're the problem.

Be sardonic all you like.
Be humorous all you like.

My answer is real. You and others like you are a BIG part of the problem when you ask questions like this.

hi, i just read your question & thought what kind of person would put this out there to answer. so here's my answer. when they, meaning all people, say i'm dreaming of a white christmas it doesn't mean the racial color of christmas, it means they are hoping for snow so that christmas day will be white. so not everything is black & white! so take a deep breath & relax cuz when someone says i hope we have a white christmas they r not trying to be racially stupid. like some people are! so merry christmas to u & also happy new year. i hope u don't get offended by the phrase "NEW" year? bb, nobrethequeen

if it is the only concept your fickle suggestions can concoct, then it probable is racist... we could forget the fact that Bing Cosby is purely too ineffective to even respond to this style of innuendo... Ugggh some everybody is purely too dumb to play the RACE card unnecessarily. Im BLACK yet i certainly get that the music isn't approximately race... Sorry that i took this question heavily. I purely knew of a few people who purposely create racial divide by making use of planting dumb concepts like this v

Hey man, when the snow falls from the sky in shades of any other color than white, I'll be on board with you.

Until then, we still dream of a white Christmas but hold hands with our brothers and sisters of every race and creed.

Great question!

Apparently the rest of the answerers didn't get the term "sardonic" like you warned them to. Sad.

I think that would be the BEST thing ever.....because its a shame how some PEOPLE only want to be around only whites or blacks or only like their own race, when it's like if you look at it like this, we ALL live on the same earth, we ALL breath the same air, and we are ALL HUMANS,......it just doesn't make since sometimes, you can't change the way other people act, and you sure cant change their ignorance, but the only thing that you can do is just not be apart of it, but try in your own way not to be it........I hope that helped,.....just love everybody........happy holidays

It's because we are so conditioned by popular music. Bob Hope sang of a White Christmas, so we all want one. Louis Armstrong sang What a Beautiful World, so we all want one of those too. I bet those two are at the same party right now. But your question, and my response, are driven by our backgrounds. Please spare a thought for people such as terrorists, who don't celebrate white European festivals such as Christmas - and who are more used to sand than snow.

Some people like snow it's billowy and it tickles your nose I'm sorry if the color white offends you I'm an off shade of pink and I like clear and translucent too. If snow was black it would be dirty If it was yellow someone must have peed on it. So I'm sorry if like my snow white. That and despite your wishful thinking personal preferences usually get in the way.
